Dis Altar - Mother's Day 2013

Mother Goddesses on altar, Frigga, Sigyn, Sunna, Frau Holle, Eostre. Jewelry from my maternal grandmother, photos of my paternal grandparents. I also included my best friend's deceased mother, and then the slips of paper have the 33 known names of the various mothers in my ancestral line. Offerings included flowers, Lambic Beer, chocolate dipped strawberries, my special homemade blend of sweet smelling herbs and spices with tobacco, and a roll stuffed with turkey sausage, bell peppers, cheese and sour cream.
